For some reason a week or so ago I put a search up for the man I loved during my teenage years. Wonder what he's up to these days I thought? I was so sad and shocked to read of Peter's passing in 2001. I, like so many who have probably visited this site used to sit for hours and listen to him singing with The New Seekers. Only recently I put some of their songs on my ipod, listening intently for Peter's voice, even now all these years on. His memory and voice will always stay with me. This site is a real tribute to him and I'm so pleased that so many others hold a special place for him in their hearts too. My thoughts go out to everyone who has been touched by his life.

I am very saddened to learn of peters early passing. This is a beautiful site and will be telling my friends from the sixties who were also great fans of peters.

Five years since Peter's early death. He was my first love and I believe he helped me find the love of my life, my husband Peter. My thoughts are with his family today and especially with the love of his life, his wife Jane. Roos

AFTER MANY YEARS OF WONDERING WHAT AHD HAPPENED TO PETER AND THE REST OF THE EARLY 1970'S LINE UP OF THE NEW SEEKERS, I CAME ACROSS THIS BRILLIANT WEBSITE, BUT HAD TO SAY I WAS DEVASTATED TO READ THAT PETER HAD DIED IN 2001. READING THIS HAS BROUGHT BACK MANY WONDERFUL MEMORIES OF BEING 10 YEARS OLD AND MEETING HIM AND THE REST OF THE GROUP IN SHEFFIELD. HE WAS ALWAYS MY FAVOURITE AND I PLANNED THAT ONE DAY I WOULD MARRY HIM! READING THE GUEST BOOK KEEPS HIS MEMORY ALIVE.

It's sad that your discography doesn't include the early stuff before Peter, because some of the stuff you have included was that line-up and not Peter; the 'Keith Potger and The New Seekers' LP and the single 'What Have They Done To My Song, Ma?' were recorded before Peter joined. Great site though!

Does anyone in Merseyside still recall waiting to see the group outside the St.Georges Hotel??!! [in 1973 and 74] great memories of a a great group and a wonderful singer in Peter; I was definitely in love, and it is a great loss.

Thinking of Peter today on what would have been his 57th birthday. I'm at the New Seekers concert tonight with my daughter Kimm. I hope someone will mention Peter's birthday. Also I would like to pay my respects for the loss of Julie's father. Roos
